My neighbor has raccoons that come to his house a lot and he will set them out food and they will get in hand reaching distance so you could have them as an outside pet but I would not cage them up they get really angry.

racoons are wild animals,they need to be kept out in the wild
lol my papaw had a pet racoon...i loved it his name was todd....he was cool....there great pets
