My friend gave us a baby raccoon and she's only 3 weeks old and has to be bottle fed but her belly is getting soooooo big because she hasn't pooped yet. Is there anything that we can do to make her go? because her belly is way too bigBaby raccoon won't poop?
for most baby mammals, after you feed them you need to gently rub their bottom - they cant go on their own, and in the wild the mother licks them to stimulate them to go.
you should wet a clean towel or something, or even just use your finger (clean) and gently massage her bottom until she goes - if she doesnt she will die, and you might want to take her to the vest - some damage might have already been done
