Price of pet raccoon?

um they are for free if you go in the forest.Price of pet raccoon?
Well I will tell you this I have rehabbed them for 25 years they DO NOT make good pets and I know they are cute. They are just like a wrecking crew when they mature .If you like these types of things try rehabbing in your area !You can help the animal when they need it and theTHEY still get to be as they were meant to be when they mature FREE .EVERY year I get poor raccoons that someone has raised that don't have a clue they are a raccoon and then go through a tough releasePrice of pet raccoon?
I am sorry but people really need to stop making pets out of wildlife. Racoons do not make good pets. Go to the SPCA and get a dog or a cat. You can ask my husband his dad had one when he was young they are not very good pets at all and should be left alone. People make me so mad leave the wild animals alone and get one that needs a home and will appricate that someone gave them a home. As a matter of fact if you are considering a wild animal as a pet or what should be left as a wild animal good luck to you. Karma will turn and literally bite you in the behind. You should not even have a pet if you are seriously considering this. You get what you sew.
Please do not get a pet raccoon, unless you know what you are getting into. They can be neat pets, but it is a lot of work, commitment, and expense. It's like having a 2yr old with claws and teeth and they live just as long as a dog. You can't just give it to a shelter or let it go if you needed to. Pet raccoons should live in your house and have their own room. you will need to find a vet that will see raccoons and check to see if it is legal. In most states you cannot buy or sell without a fur traders permit.
usually between $150-$300... they are very cute and interesting pets :)
