Ooh, you were lucky, but you might want to call a doctor and get a tetanus shot just in case.Scratched by wild raccoon when i accidently found nest/ no bite...should i worry about rabies?

I doubt rabies is a real threat if the coon didn't bite you and break the skin but I'd pay close attention to the scratch and make sure it's cleaned up by a doc just to make sure.
I would suggest going into the ER and getting checked out by a doctor... Tetanus isn't the only vaccine I'd be considering (mind you a tetanus shot is usually given for lacerations on ';dirty'; things... even cleans ones, each doctor uses them their own way). BUT There is a rabies vaccine. I know in our ER nurses have to be certified or trained to give them... don't know how it works where you are. But I would be worried, and have it checked out.
you should see a doctor!!! %26amp; get someone out to catch that racoon in case it might have rabies.
