Baby raccoon help NOW!!?

Help!!!!!!!!!!!! My friend found a baby raccon in her backyard. The poor thing dosn't even has its eyes open. It is now inside sucking on a wet towel. She will not keep it but she dousn't how to take care of it. Or what to feed it. But she did call animal control.Baby raccoon help NOW!!?
I have raised baby coons when the mother was killed and we fed the babies warm milk from an eyedropper about every 4 to 6 hrs. The towel idea is a good one also. They are pretty much off milk in about six weeks. We fed ours dogfood. They are neat pets but a ton of trouble. I had to let the 2 that lived out of a litter of four go when they got to be to much of a handful at about4 months. We lived very rural so they took to the woods and never saw them again. They have needle sharp teeth as kits. I have scars on my fingers trying to pull one out of my wiring under the dash of the car. They absolutely love gingerbread. Animal control will take good care of them. They don,t have a lot of digestive juices and their food has to be damp for them to swallow good.Baby raccoon help NOW!!?
Firstly, you'll probably want to make sure you contact a local wildlife hospital to find out what this little guy needs. If you have organic milk in the house, great-dip the towel in that and let him suck on that; if his eyes aren't open yet he'll probably get all the nutrients he needs from milk still, and you won't need to worry about feeding it.





Keep him warm and safe, but watch him-wild animals don't do well inside, and if he gets scared he could hurt someone. If there are any other pets in the house get them locked in a bedroom or someplace ASAP so they don't scare the baby and make it sick.





As soon as you can, get the little guy to an exotic or wildlife veterinarian. Most Humane Societies and animal shelters will have a few numbers you can call for that.

if you can, try to get nutrient supplement milk, or the best thing which isnt always east to find is goat milk, its very good for them. if you just give it reg. milk it will prob. end up dieing. but even if you do get goat milk you have to feed it like every half hour or every hour. use a new born bottle to feed it.
Try contacting a local wildlife rehab as animal control may euthanize it. Look here for one near you:
