There are two baby raccoons at my house that we feed, what should we call them?

My mom wants to know what to call them. Here are a few names to not call them.

Calhoun

Bob

Roxy

Fred

Ralph

There are two of them, so it needs to be two names. Thanks.There are two baby raccoons at my house that we feed, what should we call them?
Hmm.. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Castor and Pollux, Romulus and Remus, Bill and Ted, Abbott and Costello, Sunny and Cher, Robert and The Duke, Giver and Taker, Jim and Jeff, Jack and Jill....you get the idea. :DThere are two baby raccoons at my house that we feed, what should we call them?
How about Ginger and MaryAnn? Hansel %26amp; Gretel would be good since you're feeding them from your house, and they probably think they've come upon a fantasy come true!
Somerset and Sasha?

Wait ---- Do you have a permit to be keeping and feeding these baby raccoons? Or are they wild and outside?

Because, feeding these wild animals will extinguish their fear of humans, which is essential to their survival (they may approach humans who could kill them, or become a nuisance and need to be captured by animal control).

Also, interacting with these wild animals is a big risk for rabies - so I hope you are vaccinated. Raccoons are carriers for rabies, meaning they can have it with no signs or symptoms. They could appear entirely healthy for nearly the entire span of their lives while still being a danger to other animals and people.

So please, if you are unlicenced, stop feeding them and take them to a wildlife rehabilitator immediately!

- There are many people in America who will capture and take care of baby wild animals who they may think are abandoned or thinking they can keep them as pets. The animals grow up, and they are realeased and end up being killed by humans which they trust - or worse, one of the caregivers ends up with rabies, and the animal is killed to confirm. Either way, it is an avoidable tradgedy.
wild animal feed them if you want but the don't make good pets they get mean when they reach maturity
Stop feeding them! They're wild animals. Take them to a wildlife rehabber (nwrawildlife.org) and hope it's not too late to save them.
patrick and jack
Please do not set the traps and move them yourselves. You need a permit for that. Also, if they are babies, they may still be nursing. Don't seperate them from momma.

';Raccoons are born without teeth and with eyes closed, and they weigh approximately 75 g. The eyes open at two weeks of age, and the teeth erupt at about 19 days. By about 10 days of age the young are already sporting the familiar facial mask and colour patterns typical of the species. The young remain in the maternity den for about eight weeks and then leave to hunt for food with the female, although they still nurse from time to time for almost two months.';

If you absolutely must have them removed, have a nuisance wildlife control professional do it. They have the proper permits and know where to safely release the little critters. You can find out more here: http://www.wildlife-removal.com/faq.htm
skinny and pink
Itchy and Scratchy.
Bonney and Clide,
Do they have to be people names? If so, name them after someone in your family or your friends. I suppose you don't know if they're male or female so maybe name them after things like,

';Chip %26amp; Dip'; or ';Peanutbutter %26amp; Jelly';

I'll bet they are really cute! Have fun!
